How We Do 100% Inspection Before Shipment – Every Single Air Fryer
To be honest, a lot of clients ask me the same question: "How good is your product quality really?"
Me saying "good" doesn't mean much. Clients want proof.
So here's what we do. Every single air fryer gets tested before it leaves our factory. Not random sampling. Not batch testing. Every single unit.
One by one.
This article walks you through exactly how we do it.
Why 100% Inspection?
Random sampling means you test 10 units out of 1000. If those 10 pass, the whole batch is considered good.
But what if those 10 happened to be the best ones? The other 990 could have problems. You'd never know.
We had a European client who used to work with another factory. That factory did random sampling. First year was fine. Second year was fine. Third year, the client received a batch where 5% of the units failed within a month.
The client asked the factory what happened.
The factory said: "We did random sampling. The samples passed."
The client said: "But my customers received faulty products."
The factory said: "That's just a few isolated cases."
Turns out, a bad batch of motors got through because random sampling missed them. The client lost money. Lost reputation.
After that, this client only works with factories that do 100% inspection.
Our production line makes over 3000 units per day. Every single one goes through the testing line. Not random. Every one.
If you want to work with a factory that takes quality seriously, we should talk.
Step 1 – Appearance Check
Looks simple. But this is where a lot of problems get caught.
After assembly, every air fryer goes through an appearance check. Two inspectors, front and back. Fixed lighting. Fixed angles.
What we check:
-
Scratches, dents, color differences on the body
-
Deformation or burrs on the basket
-
Bubbles or peeling on the non-stick coating
-
Scratches or display issues on the control panel
-
Missing or loose screws
-
Damaged or exposed wires on the power cord
What's the standard? No visible defects from 30cm away under normal lighting.
Sounds subjective? That's why we have standard samples. We keep a set of "pass" and "fail" samples on every inspection station.
New inspectors have to check 100 units against these samples before they're allowed to work independently.
Step 2 – Function Test
Appearance passes. Now power it on. Every unit gets powered on. Not some. Every one.
What we check:
-
Display lights up, touch buttons respond
-
Temperature reaches the set value
-
Heat-up speed meets standard (room temp to 200°C within 3 minutes)
-
Temperature stays stable (fluctuation within 5 degrees)
-
Timer is accurate
-
Fan runs, noise level normal
-
Basket auto power-off works
How we test: We have custom testing fixtures. Place the air fryer on the fixture, connect power and sensors. The system runs through an automated test sequence. Temperature, power, time – all recorded.
Each test takes about 2 to 3 minutes. When done, the system prints a QR code sticker. Stick it on the unit. Scan it later to see all test data for that specific unit.
We calibrate our testing equipment regularly. If you have special testing requirements, just tell us. We'll test to your specs.
A reliable air fryer manufacturer doesn't cut corners on testing. We don't either.
Step 3 – Safety Test
Function works. Now safety. This is the one step you never skip.
What we check:
-
Dielectric strength – simulates voltage spikes, checks insulation
-
Ground resistance – ensures grounding path is solid
-
Leakage current – checks if the outer shell has any current leak
-
Plug cycle test – how many insertions before wear
-
Cord strain relief – pull the cord hard, see if internal wires loosen
Where do these standards come from? Certifications. CE, CB, RoHS, LFGB – they all have clear safety requirements. We test to those standards. Only units that pass get shipped.
If certifications matter to your market, we've got you covered. We're a certified air fryer factory with all the paperwork to prove it.
Step 4 – Aging Test
Some problems don't show up in the first 2 minutes. They show up after 20 or 30 minutes of continuous operation. That's what aging tests catch.
How we do it: For every batch, we pull a certain number of units for aging testing. Not 100% – time cost would be too high. But every batch gets sampled. Sample size depends on order volume.
Units run continuously for 30 to 60 minutes at rated voltage.
What we watch for:
-
Does it shut off unexpectedly?
-
Does temperature fluctuate abnormally?
-
Any unusual noise?
-
Does the exterior get too hot?
-
Any burning smell?
Only after aging tests pass does the batch move to packaging.
We recommend clients order pre-production samples before mass production. We can ship samples to you so you can run your own tests locally.
Step 5 – Pre-Packaging Check
Units tested. Aged. Passed. Now ready for boxing. But before boxing, one more check.
What we check:
-
Accessories all present (manual, baking tray, grill rack, recipe book, oil separator tray)
-
No defects on accessories
-
No new scratches or dings from handling
-
Stickers and labels in correct position
We once had a batch where everything was perfect – except the worker grabbed the wrong manual. Client received units with a manual for a different model.
Small mistake. But annoying for the client. Their customers thought they got counterfeit or refurbished units.
Pre-packaging check exists to catch these small but costly mistakes.
Step 6 – Pre-Shipment Random Check
Units boxed. Stacked on pallets. Ready for container loading. One final check.
Our QC supervisor randomly picks a few cartons from each batch. Opens them. Runs the full function and safety tests again. Same process. Same standards.
If any unit fails, the entire batch gets unboxed and re-inspected. Find the root cause. Rework. Then test again.
We require a 99.5% pass rate for pre-shipment checks. Anything lower, the batch doesn't ship.
We have a US client who sells on Amazon. He told us something I'll never forget: "When I get a shipment from you, I can put one unit directly on my shelf and sell it. I don't need to check it myself. Because I know you already checked it. Twice."
That's what 100% inspection means to us.
If you're looking for a wholesale air fryer supplier that actually tests every unit, we should talk.
Common Questions from Clients
Q: Does 100% inspection delay delivery?
Yes, but we build testing time into our production schedule. Normal lead time is 30 to 45 days – that includes testing. No extra delay just because we test.
Q: Can clients get test data?
Yes. We keep records for every batch. If you need test reports, just ask. We'll send them over.
Q: Can clients come to the factory to inspect before shipment?
Yes. Many clients do. We welcome third-party inspections. You seeing it yourself is better than us telling you.
Q: Different countries have different standards. Can you test to my requirements?
Yes. US, Europe, Australia, Japan – each market has different standards. We test to your target market's requirements. You provide the standards. We test to them.
We're an experienced air fryer manufacturer that's shipped to over 90 countries. We know what each market requires.

Not every factory does 100% inspection. It takes time. It takes labor. It costs money.
But we do it because our clients are buying more than just products. They're buying peace of mind.
